Check the bulletin board for
exact times and dates.

Every month there are several services which follow the lunar calendar. Most of these services are called Tsok Offerings and fall on the 10'th, full moon, 25'th and new moon days. The Tsok Offering service is a unique and specialized ritual which allows the practitioner to accumulate the Two Accumulations of merit and wisdom. It also fulfills the commitments of sacred word associated with vajrayana empowerments. A ritual feast of food and drink are integrated as offerings with prayer, meditation, and mantra and offered to the wisdom beings. On the 29'th lunar day, the Dharma Protector, Mahakala is praised. Prayer, visualization, meditation & mantra are an integral part of Tibetan Buddhist practice. The prayers are chanted in Tibetan and read in English to enrich blessings and enhance study and understanding. The prayer sessions are led by the resident teacher, The Venerable Lama Gyaltsen. The prayers come from the authentic traditions of Tibetan Buddhism, many of which are shared by all lineages. The source of these traditions is the historical Buddha known as Buddha Shakyamuni. You are welcome to offer prayers on your own if Lama Gyaltsen is not in attendance.
